High-Lift Bleach
Sold by Possumus SIA
REF High-Lift Bleach is a professional lightening powder from the Swedish brand REF Stockholm, formulated for 9+ levels of lift with a creamy, dust-reduced texture, aloe vera, quinoa protein and mineral white clay to help keep hair and scalp comfortable during processing. It is mixed with REF Developer (10–40 volume) — lower volumes (10–20 vol) for gentler root work, higher volumes (30–40 vol) through mid-lengths and ends only, kept away from the scalp — and includes anti-yellow toning pigments to help neutralise brassiness as it lifts.
This is a hazardous professional chemical product for salon use only, not intended for home or unsupervised use. Bleaching powders of this type rely on persulfate oxidising agents, a recognised cause of allergic skin reactions and, in sensitised individuals, respiratory symptoms such as rhinitis or asthma among hairdressers. Always perform a patch/allergy test at least 48 hours before first use, mix and apply in a well-ventilated area, wear nitrile or vinyl gloves, avoid inhaling the powder while mixing, keep away from eyes, and do not use on broken, irritated or sunburned scalp skin. If irritation, swelling, dizziness or breathing difficulty occurs, stop use and seek medical advice.

Composition
Bleaching powder based on persulfate oxidising agents (a family that includes ammonium, potassium and/or sodium persulfate — the common actives in professional lightening powders), combined with mineral white clay for cling and control, aloe vera and quinoa protein for scalp and hair comfort, and anti-yellow toning pigments. REF markets the formula as vegan; exact INCI could not be independently verified from a single authoritative public source, so it should be checked against the packaging/SDS before use. Must always be mixed with a REF (or equivalent) hydrogen-peroxide developer before application — never used undiluted.
How to use
Mix High-Lift Bleach with REF Developer at a 1:2 ratio (powder:developer). Choose developer volume by technique and desired lift: 10–20 volume for root application (gentler lift, closer to scalp), 30–40 volume through mid-lengths and ends for maximum lift — 30–40 volume should not be applied to the scalp. Processing time varies with natural hair colour, porosity, condition and technique; monitor closely and check strands regularly. Professional/salon use only. Patch test 48 hours beforehand; wear gloves; work in a ventilated area; rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and shampoo after processing.
