REF Hair Colouring System
Vendu par Possumus SIA
REF Hair Colouring System is REF Stockholm's permanent, oxidative cream hair colour for professional use, sold across REF's full shade range (Naturals, Ashes, Coppers, Reds, High Lifts and more, ~76 shades) with up to 100% grey coverage, in 100ml tubes. Like all permanent colour, it is mixed with a REF Peroxide Developer immediately before application: the alkalising system (REF uses a low-ammonia formula, under 2% average ammonia content) opens the hair cuticle so the small, colourless dye precursors can penetrate the cortex, where they react with the developer's hydrogen peroxide to form the final, wash-fast colour molecules.
This is a hazardous professional chemical product, not an everyday cosmetic, and REF markets it strictly for use by trained colourists. Depending on shade, the formula contains oxidative dye intermediates such as p-phenylenediamine (PPD), toluene-2,5-diamine sulfate and/or resorcinol, together with ammonia — ingredients that deliver permanent colour change but are also well-documented skin sensitisers, and PPD in particular can occasionally trigger severe allergic reactions. A preliminary sensitivity (patch) test at least 48 hours before every application is strongly recommended, gloves should be worn throughout mixing and application, and the product must never be used on broken, irritated or sunburnt skin/scalp, or allowed near the eyes. Anyone with a known allergy to hair dye or PPD should not use this product. Sold as professional stock; must be mixed with a REF Peroxide Developer before use, and is not intended for eyebrow or eyelash tinting.

Composition
Third-party retailer and ingredient-database listings for REF Permanent Colour cream commonly cite: Aqua (Water), Cetearyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Ceteareth-25, Myristyl Myristate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Ammonium Hydroxide, Toluene-2,5-Diamine Sulfate, Resorcinol, Disodium EDTA, p-Phenylenediamine, p-Aminophenol, Ascorbic Acid, Sodium Hydrosulfite, Parfum (Fragrance), 2,4-Diaminophenoxyethanol HCl, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, m-Aminophenol, and Hydrolyzed Quinoa Protein. Exact dye-intermediate combinations vary by individual shade/level; REF states an average ammonia content below 2%. This list has not been independently confirmed against REF's own current packaging/INCI and should be checked against the specific shade's box before relying on it for allergy purposes — p-phenylenediamine (PPD), toluene-2,5-diamine and resorcinol are recognised contact allergens.
