REF ProPlex 01. Bonder is the first step of REF's three-part ProPlex bond-building system, added directly into bleach or oxidative colour to protect and reinforce the hair's internal bonds during the service. Mixed in at roughly 2ml of Bonder per 10g of lightening/colour powder (or per the lightener/colour manufacturer's own instructions), it works alongside the oxidative process to reduce breakage and structural damage while lifting or colouring, and its Vitamin E content helps neutralise residual oxidation left in the hair afterwards. Sold in 500ml.
ProPlex 01 Bonder is used mixed directly into bleach or oxidative colour, so it should be treated with the same professional precautions as the product it's added to: wear gloves, avoid contact with eyes, and don't use on broken or irritated scalp/skin. The Bonder itself is a leave-in additive rather than a stand-alone dye or peroxide, but always patch test the finished bleach/colour-plus-Bonder mixture the way you would the base product, and keep out of reach of children.

Composition
Per third-party ingredient-database listings for ProPlex 01 Bonder: Aqua (Water), Sodium Methoxy PEG-16 Maleate/Styrene Sulfonate Copolymer, Phenoxyethanol, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E). The maleate/styrene sulfonate copolymer is the core bond-multiplying active; Vitamin E is included to help neutralise residual oxidation from the bleach/colour service. Not independently confirmed against REF's own current packaging/INCI — check before relying on it for allergy purposes.
Mode d'emploi
Mix bleach/lightener powder and peroxide developer according to the manufacturer's instructions, then add approximately 2ml of ProPlex 01. Bonder per 10g of bleaching/lightening (or colour) powder into the bowl and stir until fully combined. Apply and process as normal for the bleach or colour being used. Wear gloves; avoid contact with eyes; do not use on broken or irritated skin.
