REF Curly Perm Solution is the first step of REF Stockholm's 3-step perming system for lasting curl, enriched with aloe vera and plant-based keratin to help support hair strength and scalp comfort through processing. It is selected using the REF Curly Perm Formulation Wheel to match each client's hair texture and porosity, and used together with REF Fluid Regulator and Neutral Fixing Fluid.
This is a hazardous professional chemical product for salon use only, not for home or unsupervised use. Cold-wave perm solutions of this type are alkaline and typically rely on thioglycolate-type reducing agents to break and reshape the hair's internal bonds; these ingredients are a known cause of skin and eye irritation, can trigger allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling) in sensitised individuals, and are harmful if swallowed. Always patch test 48 hours beforehand, wear protective gloves, work in a well-ventilated area, avoid scalp and eye contact, and rinse immediately with plenty of water if the solution contacts skin or eyes. Never use on a scalp with cuts, abrasions or irritation.

Alkaline perm/reducing lotion built around a thioglycolate-type reducing agent (the standard active family in cold-wave perms, which breaks the hair's disulfide bonds so it can be reshaped around a perm rod), with aloe vera for scalp comfort and plant-derived keratin (REF cites 'Fision KeraVeg18') for hair structure support. Marketed as vegan and used as part of a 3-step system with Fluid Regulator and Neutral Fixing Fluid. Anwendung
Select the correct formulation from the REF Curly Perm Formulation Wheel based on the client's hair texture and porosity (a REF Pro Plex pre-treatment may be required on compromised hair). Wind hair onto perm rods, apply the solution evenly, and process for the time indicated by the chosen formulation, checking curl development regularly. Rinse thoroughly, continue with Fluid Regulator, and finish with Neutral Fixing Fluid. Professional/salon use only; patch test 48 hours beforehand; wear gloves; ensure good ventilation.
